Tegnap délben kihirdették a European League of Football idei szezonjának sorsolását. Sajnos Fortuna nem fogta csapatunk kezét, roppant nehéz sorozat vár a srácokra.
A szezont június 3-án szombaton hazai pályán a konferencia egyik kedvence, az off-seasonben kiválóan igazoló és a liga legjobb védőjátékosát Kyle Kitchenst a soraiban tudó Berlin Thunder érkezik Székesfehérvárra, ami elég erős kezdésnek tűnik. Azonban a folytatás sem egyszerűbb: egy héttel később nem más, mint a 2021-es ELF bajnokcsapata, a bitang erős Frankfurt Galaxy látogat hozzánk.
A két hazai meccset két idegenbeli követi Lipcsében és a lengyelországi Wroclawban, majd Európa legjobb csapata, a Vienna Vikings érkezik és mutatja meg a fehérvári szurkolóknak miért is ők a regnáló bajnokok Európa legerősebb bajnokságában. A hatodik héten egy pokoli kemény berlini túra vár az Enthronersre, így kijelenthetjük: nagyon komoly kihívás vár a magyar bajnokra a kiírás első felében.
Kemény sorsolás, erőltetett menet vár ránk, de természetesen nem feltartott kézzel lépünk a pályára, magyar és külföldi játékosokkal és edzőkkel igencsak megerősített Enthroners képes meglepetést okozni és bízunk benne, hogy a szurkolók segítségével ez sikerülni is fog!

The schedule of the ELF 2023 season is out – big challenge for the Enthroners!
The draw for this season’s European League of Football was announced yesterday. Unfortunately, Fortuna didn’t hold our team’s hand and a very tough series awaits our players.
The season kick off on Saturday 3rd June at home venue against one of the Eastern Conference championship contender Berlin Thunder, who have been excellent in the off-season and have the league’s best defensive player Kyle Kitchens, which looks like a hard start. However the next game is no easier at all: one week later the 2021 ELF champions Frankfurt Galaxy visiting Székesfehérvár.
The two home games will be followed by two away games in Leipzig and Wroclaw and after that Europe’s best team, the Vienna Vikings will arrive to show the fans why they are the reigning champions in Europe’s strongest league. At week six the Enthroners face a tough tour to Berlin so we have to say that the Hungarian champions will be in for a very tough challenge in the first half of the competition.
It’s a tough draw but of course we’re not going to go into it with our hands up, the Enthroners with a very strong squad of Hungarian and foreign players and coaches are capable of surprising and we’re confident that with the help of the fans we can do it!
