Nem túlzás azt állítani, hogy igazi nagyhal akadt a Koronázók horgára, hiszen kevés olyan európai játékos rendelkezik olyan veretes játékos múlttal, mint a most leigazolt Benjamin Plu. A francia válogatott oszlopa már egyetemen Kanadában képezhette magát a McGill University-n, míg 2019-ben a Thonon Black Pantherssel francia bajnok és a döntő MVP-je lett. A remek teljesítmény meghozta gyümölcsét, hiszen még ugyanebben az évben a kanada draft első körének (!!!) 7. választásával a BC Lions csapott le a kiváló adottságú (190 cm/87 kg) atlétára.
Pechére a Covid miatt a 2020-as szezon elmaradt, ám mivel játékban akart maradni 2021-ben Finnországba igazolt és ezüstéremig vezette a Seinajoki Crocodiles csapatát.
Itt csapott le rá és igazolta le a Barcelona Dragons ELF csapata, ahol 2022-ben Kyle Sweettel és Zach Edwardssal félelmetes triót alkotva a rájátszásig meneteltek a spanyol franchise-al. Plu Hispániában sem fukarkodott a jó mutatókkal, 12 mérkőzésen 566 yardot, 5 TD-t szedett össze csaknem 60 %-os hatékonysággal kapkodta el a felé szálló labdákat, közel 50 yardot átlagolva meccsenként. És hogy miért pont Magyarország a következő állomás? Arra a Benji becenévre hallgató játékos maga adta meg a választ:

Hiszek a csapatban, megvan minden lehetőségünk hogy „családként” sikeresek legyünk. Alig várom, hogy találkozzam a szurkolókkal, akiktől mindig dübörög a stadion és készen állok mindent beleadni hogy örömet okozzunk nekik.
Mi mást akarhatnék, mint bajnokságot nyerni és hazahozni a trófeát új otthonomba. Az edzői stábbal, a csapattársaimmal és a szurkolókkal együtt sikerülhet.”

French star receiver in Székesfehérvár: Benjamin Plu signed with the Enthroners!
It is not an exaggeration to say that a real big fish was caught on the hook of the Enthroners, as few European players have such a high-revered record as the recently signed Benjamin Plu. The pillar of the French national team was already able to improve in Canada at McGill University, while in 2019 he became the French champion and the MVP of the final with the Thonon Black Panthers.
Due to the great performance in the same year the BC Lions took him the 7th pick of the 1st round of the Canadian draft. Unfortunately due to Covid the 2020 season was cancelled, but wanted to stay in the game so signed to Finland in 2021 and led the Seinajoki Crocodiles team to a silver medal.
The Barcelona Dragons ELF team struck and confirmed him where they formed a tremendous trio with Kyle Sweet and Zach Edwards and marched to the playoffs with the Spanish franchise in 2022. Plu had outstanding performance collecting 566 yards, 5 TDs in 12 games, catching the balls with almost 60% efficiency, averaging nearly 50 yards per game. And why Hungary is the next stop? Benjamin gave the answer himself:
