A szakember 28 éves edzői tapasztalattal felvértezve érkezik Európába, egyetemi szinten olyan csapatok kötelékébe tartozott korábban mint a Notre Dame, a Pitt, vagy a Mizzou, de az NFL-ben is százas nagyságrendű mérkőzés van a háta mögött, hiszen megfordult a Green Bay, a Pittsburgh, az Oakland, vagy a Seattle és a New Orleans NFL franchise-oknál is.
” Alig várom, hogy megkezdjem a munkát a Koronázókkal! -mondta a szakember. Pár évvel ezelőtt Ausztriában a Swarco Raiders Tirolnál már volt lehetőségem belekóstolni az európai football levegőjébe, ott akkor azt a szezont sajnos a covid járvány elsöpörte. Izgatott vagyok a Fehérvári lehetőségtől, és alig várom hogy minél több tudást tudjak átadni a játékosaimnak. Például amikor a Notre Dame vagy a Pittsburgh egyetemeken dolgoztam, a szezon végén mindig valamennyi (mind az 5) faljátékosomat draftolta valamelyik NFL csapat, így pontosan tudom mi kell ahhoz, hogy valaki fejlődjön és kiváló játékossá váljon.
Természetesen a magyar kultúra és az emberek megismerése is nagyon motivál, sok jót hallottam az országról és a magyarok vendégszeretetéről. Beszélgetéseim Hill mesterrel és a management többi tagjával győzött meg arról, hogy ennél a frissen épülő ELF franchise-nál van a helyem, és biztos vagyok benne hogy már az első szezonunkban meglepetést fogunk okozni!”
Minden adott tehát az egyedülálló fejlődéshez a fehérvári OL tagjainak, hiszen túlzás nélkül a szakma egyik legjobbjával dolgozhatnak 2023 tavaszától a European League of Football szezonjára!

Coaching legend leads the Enthroners’ offensive line in the next season: Bill Meyers, with more than 10 years of NFL and even more NCAA experience, moved to Hungary, Székesfehérvár!
Meyers has achieved many successes as OL coach with the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints, and as offense coordinator in College Football with the University of Pittsburgh, Missouri and Notre Dame. And his next stop is the European League of Football and the Fehérvár Enthroners!
Bill Meyers coached 28 years in college and the NFL. His college coaching career started at CAL Berkeley. He was a graduate assistant and then as offensive line coach. He moved on to Norte Dame to coach The fighting Irish offensive line where all five of his linemen were drafted into the NFL.
He moved on from there to coach the offensive line for the Green Bay Packers, later moved to coach the Offensive line for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The professional after the ‘Steelers stop’ went back to college football coaching to become the Offensive Coordinator at the University of Missouri as well as coaching offensive line.
From there Coach Meyers moved to the University of Pittsburgh as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. He again had all 5 offensive lineman drafted in the NFL!
moved to the LA and Oakland Raiders as the offensive line coach, and later then moved on to the Seattle Seahawks and eventually the New Orleans Saints as the offensive line coach at both stops.
Meyers love of the game and the men that play it has kept him involved by doing football clinics, coaching Your Call Football and an abbreviated stop for the Tirol Raiders.
